TIP: For those who are having trouble (the app keeps saying to download/doesn't recognize that it's been downloaded and won't open to change notification settings): try forgetting the pairing with the SmartBand in your Bluetooth settings and then repairing again (this fixed the issue for me and my smart and is working great now). As for the application itself: absolute pain in the a$$!! Sony come on! You couldn't make it any more difficult to get connected to your hardware if you tried. Fix it!

The device never connects to any phone other than Sony. It is dying only because of this they think their products shouldn't be compatible to any other devices then people will buy only their products. It's wrong.

Had this for over 4 years and loved it, but just upgraded my Sony phone to Xperia XZ2 Premium and it won't connect to smartband. Sony tell me their not compatible due to different Bluetooth (low energy) also tried to connect via NFC didn't work either. GUTTED as used it daily.

the smartband is good, but when i listen to voice notes on whatsapp it stays vibrating all the time that I'm listening to it, and it's draining my smartband's battery faster then when it didn't happen, please fix it soon

mine stopped working on the 19th if this month. seems the main app no longer supports this module. prior to it breaking completely it was a decent bit of kit. hopefully it gets fixed.

just not working anymore. Purchased 3 different. Same issue. with newest Android OS, the band does not report anything to the Sony LifeLog app. Sad!

The band shows in bluetooth list, but will not show in smart connect, therefore the device doesn't actually do anything. Annoying.

Yay! Once I install with "Smart Connect" it works perfectly. Love that it helps connect me to other apps as a little notifier. Wonderful.
